Another Australian drama won’t be returning to TV screens, with the news that The Secret Daughter starring Jessica Mauboy has been axed.
The show aired for two seasons from October 2016 and also featured prominent Australian stars Bonnie Sveen, Matt Levett and Rachel Gordon.
The news come shortly after it was revealed Channel Nine’s Love Child starring Jessica Marais was cancelled and not returning in 2018.
The future of other Australian shows including The Wrong Girl, House Husbands and Offspring are uncertain at this point.
Meanwhile, Channel 7 confirmed earlier this year that popular reality series Yummy Mummies would air for season two on 7Plus.
Delta Goodrem will also star as Olivia Newton-John in new mini-series Olivia Newton-John: Hopelessly Devoted To You.
