Fans took to Twitter last night to hilariously mock The Voice contestant Erin Connell for her slightly creepy infatuation with Delta Goodrem.

Erin – who has been friends with Delta since 2015 after understudying the Aussie star during her time in Cats the musical – took to the stage with a stunning performance of Delta’s hit song Welcome to Earth.
‘I have the honour of knowing the beautiful Delta Goodrem,’ Erin revealed before taking to the stage.
‘We met doing the musical Cats, I was her standby. I used to come in on the hour and hang out in the dressing room while she got ready.’
‘Delta is hilarious, Delta is beautiful, Delta is inspiring, ah, Delta,’ she gushed.
While Erin impressed both Kelly Rowland and Delta, fans couldn’t help commenting on the contestant’s seeming obsession with her former co-worker.
