According to OzTAM, the troubled show grabbed 177,000 metro viewers on Wednesday, while Sunrise pulled nearly double that at 300,000, and the ABC’s News Breakfast achieved 145,000.

Today earned its best results this week on Monday, when it pulled in 220,000 viewers.

It’s still very early days for the show, which recently said goodbye to a string of familiar faces, establishing a new format led by Georgie Gardner, Deb Knight and Tom Steinfort.

The official 2019 ratings season has not yet begun, with things kicking off on Sunday.
