NRL star Tom Burgess and girlfriend Tahlia Giumelli have introduced their baby girl to the world.
Little Sophie Heather was born at at Sydney’s ‘s Royal Hospital for Women.

‘On the 3rd of August 2019 at 2:09am we welcomed our little girl Sophie Heather Burgess weighing in at a beautiful 4.03kgs,’ she wrote on Instagram.
‘Tom was an absolute legend of a birthing partner for the whole 15 hours and if it wasn’t for him being by my side every step of the way and our beautiful midwives and doctors at The Royal Hospital for Women I don’t know how I would have managed it.’
She added: ‘Dad’s smitten and mum’s exhausted, but we can’t wait to get to know our little girl and start a new adventure as a family.’
The pair announced they were expecting in January.
The pregnancy wasn’t been smooth sailing for the first time mum, with Tahlia revealing that she was diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum and bedridden for most of the first trimester.
