Last week, Gogglebox fans across the nation were left devastated when not one but two fan-favourites decided to throw in the towel.
Both Angie and Yvie, and Wayne and Tom quit the reality TV show.
And now the girls are sharing their side of the story.
During an Instagram live, Yvie confirmed that Angie had moved out of their home.
“We wanted to let everyone know the reason we left is because Angie doesn’t live in Sydney anymore.”
Angie added, “It just became really, really hard to do the logistics of being there. Last season she was coming and going and it was just way too difficult, she couldn’t afford it.”
Angie continued, “We wanted to spread our wings but that doesn’t mean we don’t love Gogglebox. Because we do. There’s no hard feelings there.”
Last week the show announced, “After eight amazing seasons, Angie and Yvie and Wayne and Tom have decided to switch off their TVs and farewell Gogglebox.“
“We wish you all the best and thank you for all your incredible TV watching.”
It’s been a trialling time for fellow couch mates Anastasia who’s best friend Faye lost her partner Tony.
On December 6, Anastasia took to the pair’s official Instagram page to share with their fans the very sad news.
“To all our fans. It’s Anastasia here. I just wanted to let you all know. My beautiful girlfriend Faye lost her partner yesterday after a long battle with cancer.”
