Asked what makes her feel beautiful, “I love being out in my kit, but then I also love getting all dolled up for those special nights in amazing gowns,” the West Australian tells WHO.

“Getting your hair done and sometimes being the girly girl that sometimes athletes don’t get to be … That was a lie, such a lie!” she bursts out laughing.

“I don’t know. I hate being beautiful. I just want to play soccer.”

I guess it’s probably my lips. They’re big and everyone always comments on them.

Who is the most beautiful person in the world?

Definitely Beyoncé. She’s not only a beautiful human, but she’s an amazing human being and she does a lot of good things outside of her career. She’s unreal. I would be Beyoncé, if I could. Always be yourself, unless you can be Beyoncé!

What is ugly to you?

Fake things! I don’t know if I should say that but I really don’t like the whole fake lips, fake butt, fake everything … It’s just not for me.

What’s your daily beauty routine?

Nothing. Natural beauty, mate. I don’t really have a routine, to be honest. Wake up, clean my teeth, moisturise, brush my hair.

What’s exciting about this year?

I recently changed clubs and moved to Chicago. It’s a new team and a new

challenge and I’m really excited to get over and explore. I’ve never lived in the city, so it’s a new step for me.
