North West has just landed her first magazine cover at the ripe old age of 5, yep.

When I was five years old, the biggest career highlight I had up to that point was being able to successfully put on my three-piece winter uniform on, on my own, and sure, that was a big achievement that was not to be glossed over, but it was no magazine cover.

North West on the other hand is WWD magazine’s latest cover girl.

Move over millennials, a new generation is coming of age. At five years old, North West, the famous daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, has captivated the digital realm with her cross-generational appeal. Without a public Instagram or YouTube channel of her own, she's too young to fully understand what a digital footprint is. And yet, hers is already wildly popular. We've watched North West grow on Instagram and "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and magazines - here, she poses for her first solo cover. Her distinct fashion sense belies her age, and lately, so does her eye for makeup. Already, they are significant consumers of beauty: According to NPD, 69 percent of Gen Zers use color cosmetics and 68 percent have a skin-care regimen. Of course mum Kim weighed in on the shoot saying, “My most stylish and beautiful baby girl North shot her 1st cover for @wwd !!!! She loves fashion & beauty and has so much fun doing this!”

And Aunty Kendall wasn’t too far behind posting the below pictures of the shoot on Twitter with the comment “giving me a run for my money that’s for sure.”

This isn’t Norths first foray into the world of fashion modelling. The curly-haired cutie also starred alongside her grandmother Kris and mother Kim Kardashian in a campaign for Fendi in 2018.
