“She was saying, ‘I'm scared of you, Jason, I'm scared of you’. And he said, ‘If you're scared of me, why are you leaving your kids with me?’”
“So then, Jason went outside and lay under her car so she wouldn't leave. She got in her car to back up, he lay under her car so she wouldn't leave.”
“She went back into the house and he went in, it was back and forth. He said he was doing it on purpose to make her late going to see Harry.”
The nanny continued, “Jason told me, ‘She made this salad and she made her special dressing and she's leaving with her salad to have dinner with [Harry].”
“I said, ‘What salad dressing?’ He said, ‘She has a special salad dressing she makes for us and she's taken it to have it with him now’... Out of everything, he was like, ‘she made her special salad dressing and took it to him.’”'
The nanny even provided several screenshots of text messages between herself and Jason, and one screenshot shows that Jason texted the nanny, “Took her salad, and dressing and left them [Jason and Olivia’s children].”
Of course, Jason’s supposed fixation on the salad dressing has led everyone to wonder what the recipe for it is and why it’s so damn special.
But what if the salad dressing isn’t actually salad dressing at all; what if it’s just a euphemism?
To be slightly crass for a second, what if Olivia’s salad and special dressing is actually a reference to her lady bits and that’s why Jason was so upset that Olivia was now sharing her salad dressing, if you know what we mean, with Harry.
After all Jason is a funny guy and he has used food as a euphemism for vaginas before.
In the 2014 film, Horrible Bosses 2, Charlie Day’s character says he thinks his female boss wants to sleep with his wife and Jason improvised the line, “I figured those guys have been bumping tacos for the last few days.”
Of course, the whole saga of the special salad dressing may be false as both Olivia and Jason made a joint-statement denying all of their former nanny’s claims.
“As parents, it is incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous accusations about us publicly,” they wrote.
Although, seeing as Olivia has just posted a salad dressing recipe to her Instagram story, maybe there’s some truth, at least, to Jason being upset about Olivia no longer making an actual salad dressing for him but for her current partner, Harry…
But this could also just be Olivia having some fun with a tongue-in-cheek post (if so, good for her).
Ultimately, we guess we’ll never really know whether the salad dressing is really just salad dressing or a metaphor for Olivia herself… and hey, it's really none of our collective businesses anyway.
