But there is one small issue - the booklet mentions Thomas Markle’s involvement - having been printed when it was still thought he’d be walking Meghan down the aisle.
The palace admits they didn’t have time to redo the booklets for the ceremony - and it really doesn’t matter. After all, there are so many great details in here.
For instance, page 8 holds detail of the timings for when the royal family will arrive.
“At 11.25 am Members of the Royal Family arrive at the Galilee Porch and are received by the Dean of Windsor who presents the Canons of Windsor and the Archbishop of Canterbury. Those in the Quire stand as they are conducted to their places,” it says.
“At 11.40 am The Bridegroom and his Best Man arrive at the West Door and are received by the Dean of Windsor. All stand as the Bridegroom and his Best Man are conducted to the Bray Chantry Chapel.
At 11.42 am Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall arrive at the Galilee Porch and are received by the Vice-Dean who presents the Canons of Windsor and the Archbishop of Canterbury. Those in the Quire stand as they are conducted to their places.
At 11.45 am the Mother of the Bride, Ms Doria Ragland, arrives at the Galilee Porch and is received by the Dean of Windsor and is conducted to her seat in the Quire.
At 11.52 am Her Majesty The Queen arrives at the Galilee Porch and is received by the Dean of Windsor who presents the Canons of Windsor and the Archbishop of Canterbury. Those in the Quire stand as Her Majesty is conducted to her place in the Quire.
A fanfare will sound.”
After the choir and clergy arrive - including the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Dean Of Windsor - comes Meghan’s big moment. The bride-to-be will enter and walk through the Nave where she will be met - not by her father - but by Prince Charles, who will then walk her to the High Altar.
The Dean will then read a preface, before leading the congregation in the first Hymn before the best part - the declarations. Interestingly, here Harry and Meghan will actually say “I will” not “I do” when asked if they will take each other as husband and wife.
No doubt this is where we will start crying.
After more readings and an address by Presiding Bishop and Primate of the Episcopal Church in the USA, The Most Reverend Michael Curry, page 13 tells us that a gospel choir will sing Stand By Me from the West End of the chapel.
Again, no doubt there will be tears.
Then - pass the tissues - by page 14, Harry and Meghan take these vows:
“The Bridegroom says:
I HARRY, take you, MEGHAN, to be my wife, to have and to hold from, this day forward; for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part; according to God’s holy law. In the presence of God I make this vow.
The Bride says
I MEGHAN, take you, HARRY, to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward; for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part; according to God’s holy law. In the presence of God I make this vow.”
One of the most interesting things in today’s wedding ceremony is that Harry is choosing to wear a wedding ring… The groom-to-be is breaking tradition after other royal men in the family, like his brother Prince William and grandfather Prince Philip, have chosen not to wear wedding bands at all - only the Duchess of Cambridge getting one on her wedding day in 2011.
During the service Harry and Meghan will place a ring on each other's finger, saying the following words:
"I give you this ring as a sign of our marriage. With my body I honor you, all that I am I give to you, and all that I have I share with you, within the love of God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit,” before being officially announced as Husband and Wife.
Again, more tears, we’re sure.
After the blessing of their union and prayers, the couple will go in to North Quire Aisle and sign the register before returning for God Save The Queen, whereupon they will start their procession out of the Chapel as - yes, it’s finally true! - a married couple at last, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
