From Cinderella to Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, Lily James is a familiar face across our screens. But we've never seen her quite like this.
Pam & Tommy lead hair designer Barry Lee Moe told Vogue that one of the key parts to Pamela's look was her bright, reflective platinum blonde hair.
“It was extremely important to get the colour right,” he revealed, saying he used four different shades of blonde to dye the wig to achieve Pamela's famous colour. He also added a dark shadow root to mimic her regrowth.
As for her face, they used a prosthetic appliance to make Lily's forehead appear larger like Pamela's own. The make-up department meticulously researched '90s beauty trends to nail Pamela's signature look and they also used fake teeth and breasts to complete the transformation.
In the end, the results are uncanny. Her own co-star Sebastian revealed: "I was amazed at how close to Pamela she looked and how much of her essence was there."
Sebastian Stan as Tommy Lee
While Sebastian didn't have to undergo quite so many prosthetic changes, he did have to don ample amounts of fake tattoos and stubble to emulate the famous Mötley Crüe drummer.
"The hair and makeup team that we had were geniuses," the actor tells Forbes. "They researched so hard, and the way they planned everything was special and specific. From every single tattoo to the amount of stubble I had, it was a conscious decision on their part to try to move us in the right direction."
He also says he "did a lot of fasting" and "running on an empty stomach" to lean out his body to look like Tommy.
Seth Rogen as Rand Gauthier & Taylor Schilling as Erica Gauthier
Seth and Taylor star as husband-and-wife duo Rand and Erica Gauthier, who were instrumental in stealing the sex tape. With their own connections to the world of pornography, they distributed the stolen tape to the world setting off an infamous train of events.
In transforming their looks, both actors had minimal work to do beyond their '90s wigs and style overhauls. You can see photos of the real-life couple here.
Nick Offerman as Uncle Miltie
The Parks & Recreation alum simply had to wear a wig and some light make-up to complete his transformations as Milton Owen Ingley AKA Uncle Miltie. The famous pornographic actor, producer, and director worked with Rand Gauthier to distribute the sex tape.

Adam Ray as Jay Leno
Comedian Adam Ray portrays the famous talk-show host Jay Leno in Pam & Tommy, recreating scenes from real life when Pamela went on The Tonight Show.
On his Instagram page, the comedian revealed chin prosthetics, heavy-duty make-up and a very dramatic wig were key to his impressive transformation.
