Congratulations are in order for Home and Away's Penny McNamee, who has become a mum for the second time.
On Saturday, March 2, the TV icon gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.
Taking to Instagram, Penny shared her darling daughter's first photo and her precious name: Neve!
She added, " A little ray of sunshine has come into the world☀️Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Sydney Adventist Hospital for your kindness and extraordinary care. Especially our favourite Doc - Peter Wood and the beautiful nursing staff, particularly Ali, Maria, Chrissie, Anne, Bron and Chris.
"Nurses really are angels on earth. 💫Now excuse me while I go and stare at my baby for 3 hours."
“We feel this real thrill that Jack is finally going to have a sibling, because we weren’t sure he was ever going to,” Penny, who plays Dr Tori Morgan in Home and Away, told us.
Former high-school sweethearts, the pair always planned to have a family of their own. Like many young couples, however, they never really considered that the road to parenthood may not be an easy one.
Until, that is, they started trying to conceive for the first time.
The actress experienced fertility issues resulting from endometriosis – undiagnosed until recently – the news that they are expecting a baby in March is everything they’d been hoping for.
