Their relationship developed as filming of the show progressed, and the audience got to see Kim texting Pete, and lovingly talking about him with her family.
He was finally heard behind the camera in a post-credit scene in the final episode, where Kim introduced him to one of the members of the film crew.
“Pete, come here, you have to meet Paxy,” she calls behind to him.
“She knows everything about me, she’s probably seen my vagina,” Kim joked.
“More than me?” Pete asked while Kim smiled.
So, will we be seeing Pete on screen come season two? We think it’s unlikely.
While his relationship with Kim is quite public, Pete himself seems like quite a private person. He doesn’t have any social media, and is very focused on his work in acting and comedy.
Executive Producer on The Kardashians, Danielle King, has also said that the choice is up to Pete.
“The show is about our core cast, it’s about the family so if there are significant others, it’s really up to them,” she told Deadline.
“Kim never tried to persuade Pete (to be on the show). It’s always up to the significant other or the peripheral person that they’re dealing with.
“Pete’s a high-profile person, he’s an actor; like Kim has said before; when the cameras are rolling for him, it means performance time. When the cameras are rolling for him, it means performance time. When the cameras are rolling for this family, it’s time to get real. It’s a different muscle that they worked, and he worked,” she said.
While Kourtney’s new partner, Travis Barker, has been happy to be a part of the show alongside Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie’s partner Travis Scott and Kendall’s then-boyfriend Devin Booker did not appear on the new show.
But still, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that Pete might show up soon!
