This week, Pink was forced to reschedule three of her Sydney shows on 'medical advice' after being diagnosed with a gastric virus.
Despite the entertainer's sad plea to fans and the shows due to be rescheduled, many annoyed and angry concertgoers took to Twitter to vent their frustration.
While fans were not so frustrated that the US singer was sick, it was that organisers waited until just before 5pm Monday to cancel, when doors were due to open at 6.30pm.
It was then that Pink decided to respond. Although not tweeting herself, the songstress 'liked' a Tweet by an Adelaide newsreader, Melanie Usher, who defended the singer against angry fans.
'Geez - don't fall sick on a concert tour in Oz,' she wrote.
'A performer is not a robot and they fall sick too. Give her a break and stop complaining about two concerts which ARE going to be rescheduled.'
A statement released by Live Nation on Tuesday read: 'On medical advice P!NK’s performance scheduled for tonight (Tuesday, August 7) at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena has been postponed.
'Pink was admitted to St. Vincents Hospital in Sydney on Sunday night, suffering from dehydration. She was treated and discharged.
'She was readmitted to hospital on Monday and diagnosed with a gastric virus.
'On medical advice Pink remained in hospital overnight, continuing her treatment and recovery. She will be reassessed by her doctors today.
'A further announcement will be made when an update becomes available.'
