Ciara— who tied the knot with Russell, 31, in July 2016— announced she was expecting her third child in January, sharing an eyecatching photo of herself in a bikini while showing off her bulging baby bump.
Speaking about how becoming a mother has changed her perspective on life, the Grammy winner said her brood keeps her motivated and inspired to achieve more.
"I hope that my kids can look at me and say, ‘Anything is possible. Mommy went after what she wanted to achieve and she did it.’ Hopefully, I can pass down those nuggets of inspiration to them to go after what they want to do in their lives," she gushed to Pure Wow in 2019.
The Game alum added at the time: "Motherhood has just shown me there’s really nothing we can’t do as women. I feel really empowered having my kids in my life. By far, my greatest accomplishment is having them... I can’t even imagine my life without them. Life without them was not as good as it is with them."
Although juggling family life and her career is tough at the best of times, Ciara said she wouldn't have it any other way!
"When you have two kids it's double the love. With Russ, Future and Sienna, I have an abundance of love, so it just feels really good," she told Essence.
"As an entertainer when you're just going and going, and with business when you're really driven, when you have days like Mother's Day you take the moment to put all of that to the side and really be normal and embrace that special part of life."
While this will be her second child with the NFL player, Ciara shares son Future with her ex-fiance and famous rapper, Future.
Less than a year after announcing their engagement and three months after welcoming their first child together, the couple called it quits.
At the time, multiple sources told Us Weekly that a cheating scandal spelled the end of their once happy relationship.
"He cheated on her. Game over," a source told the outlet. "She's devastated. Ciara's focus now is the baby."
