The former actress hopes to “bring up children who know the values of normal things in life,” Royal contributor Omid Scobie told Us Weekly, noting she wants her little ones with Harry to live a far more regular life than their cousins, Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince Louis, 8 months. “They’ll have chores, and jobs one day,” Scobie continues. “They won’t be spoiled.”
While Meghan’s move of diving into work mirrors how sister-in-law Catherine chose an initial set of patronages in 2012, the former actress is setting her own course as a mother, starting with how she plans to welcome her baby – tipped to be a daughter – into the world.
Attention is focused on where Meghan could give birth, the famed Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital, where Kate delivered all three of her children, not among the top contenders. Instead, the couple is thought to be considering various options, including Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey – where Sophie, Countess of Wessex, had her two children – which is around 20 minutes from the couple’s intended residence at Frogmore Cottage. “It will be much less chaos and more of a private event than if she gives birth in London like Kate did,” a source told Us Weekly.
