And now, William and Kate have gone one step further to finalise the separation, after documents were made public today confirming Harry and Meghan had been removed from the Royal Foundation’s charity name.
The documents, which appear to have been completed on August 8 and are available to read on the Companies House website, reveal the Royal Foundation’s change of name from “The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex” to “The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge”.
Furthermore, the Sussex’s have now updated the title of their own charity, naming it “Sussex Royal The Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex”.
The latest development only fuels speculation over the previous months that the “Fab Four” have fallen out.
In March it was announced that the two couples’ royal households would be split, after Meghan and Harry revealed they would be moving to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor after the birth of their son, Archie.
