It is believed the couple are considering a small, private ceremony with just a few family members and friends.
Royal author Phil Dampier said: "You have to feel sorry for Beatrice - she must feel her wedding is cursed!
"First she had to delay it because of her father Prince Andrew being involved in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
"She was never going to be able to have a big all singing event like Eugenie because the public wouldn’t have stomached the cost.
"She and Edo then struggled to find a venue and they couldn’t hold it in Italy as they wanted to because the Queen and Prince Philip couldn't have made it due to their age.
"They finally settled on St James’s Palace with the reception at Buckingham Palace. Although 150 guests are invited to the service, many more would have been at the reception.
"But Bea was going to use marquees put up for the Queen’s garden parties in May and these will almost certainly now be cancelled because of coronavirus."
He continued: "So it wouldn’t surprise me if Bea’s wedding has to be postponed until next year. Certainly the Queen and Philip would be taking a risk by going to a gathering of two or three hundred people. It just doesn’t bear thinking about.
"Edo has already tweeted about his concerns for old people and how shops should open just for them to get food and supplies.
"He is wealthy but clearly a caring person and he and Bea will want to do what’s best for society in general and the family.
"They have been incredibly unlucky but everyone is making sacrifices and they are no different.
"The situation is changing by the minute but I’d be amazed if the wedding went ahead as planned in May."
It was only in February that Bea was reportedly “furious” about having to postpone her nuptials to fiancé Edo for the second time and now she is again facing the same fate.
