Princess Mary in Sydney with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle: Invictus Games

Princess Mary of Denmark will join Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when the royals head to Australia in October for the 2018 Invictus Games.

The Australian-born Danish royal will be accompanied by her husband Prince Fredrik for their trip to Sydney.

The event's star powered will be heightened with David and Victoria Beckham travelling down under for the games.

The ex professional football player was announced as an ambassador last month.

"I can’t wait to be part of the energy and the excellence of the Games this year," he wrote on Instagram in August.

I've been lucky enough to meet and work with many serving, veteran and wounded British armed forces personnel over the years and I've been humbled by the courage, resilience and spirit shown by each and every one of them. So, I'm incredibly proud to announce I will be an Ambassador for this year's Invictus Games in Sydney.
