Okay, so let's pull this apart a little bit.
"Heading into the final week of this experience, I am thrilled to be on this journey with Matt and to see where it takes us."
Present tense, not past - interesting. Seems too obvious though. Let's keep going.
"Our connection has deepened with every moment we spend together and seeing how well Matt fitted into my family on our amazing Hometown date only solidified our relationship."
Ah-ha! "Relationship."
Helena's message says she "hopes" her connection with Matt is strong enough - doesn't sound very certain.
Chelsie sounds a little more convincing...
"After seeing Matt in hometowns with my family, it makes it even clearer that I can picture a life with him."
But still, she this isn't screaming "done deal" to us.
Next bit of evidence Abbie's the winner? Both Helena and Chelsie both talk about being "grateful for the experience" in their posts (hot tip: this is the kind of thing people say when they get close but don't win, like, in any competition-type situation), Abbie doesn't actually say anything along those lines. Winner? Or just... not grateful?!
And while Chels and Helena hint at uncertainty/finding silver linings with phrases like:
"Regardless of the outcome..."
...and...
"Everything happens for a reason..."
Abbie seems damn sure of her future.
"Knowing that the end is in sight simultaneously excites and scares me, but I know that I am where I am supposed to be with Matt," she writes.
So far, Chelsie has been the hot tip to win this season of the show. But if Abbie does pull a rabbit out of a hat and win the thing, you can be guaranteed of one thing: fans will be PISSED.
The blonde bombshell has managed to rub everyone - from the other contestants to the general public - up the wrong way since she got into the mansion.
Except for, you know, Matt, who couldn't be happier with the 23-year-old's presence in the house.
At this point in the competition, Monique Morley, Sogand Mohtat and Matt's very own best friend, Kate, have all doubted Abbie's motives. But he just doesn't see it.
While it's starting to upset the wider population - Twitter is lit with angry memes right now - former Bachie frontrunner Elly Miles has put her finger on why Matt is choosing to ignore other people's opinions. According to the affable nurse, he's letting their sexual chemistry cloud his judgement.
"He's a very intelligent man," Elly told TV Week after she was booted off the series. "I think at this point he's picked up there's a few red flags there and there are a few inconsistencies that have popped up with Abbie. He's aware of it, but they have such a strong connection that he doesn't know what to think."
With all of that said, former contestant Rachael Arahill dropped a pretty big hint the other day that basically flies in the face of this latest theory.
Fellow Bachie villain Rachael broke Channel 10's strict protocol by sharing a photo with Abbie. The controversial contestant captioned the snap, "Naughty two forever."
While at first glance it seems like an innocent post, the hidden meaning behind the shot is perhaps the biggest spoiler we've seen to date.
You see, there are rigid social media policies in place meaning that if Abbie was to have won the astrophysicist's heart, she would presumably be cautious about featuring in any photographs which have not been approved by the Network. And clearly the network kicked up a stink seeing as the picture was swiftly removed moments after it was posted.
What it all boils down to is this: don't call or text us tonight or tomorrow because we will be GLUED TO OUR TVs, okay?
