How is little Ruby? Ruby is divine. I hate to break it to everybody, but Ruby is the cutest baby
in the entire world! She has brought so much joy to our life, and my husband and I couldn’t be happier.
Is she a good eater and sleeper?
She is both. She is a great sleeper and a great eater. And she’s just adorable. She is a bit like me – she laughs all the time.
How old is she?
She’s six months. I know, it’s flown!
Are you still in the baby bubble?
Still deep in the baby bubble. She is growing every day, and I just want to keep her little!
She is so adorable though – she wakes up every morning and squeals with delight when we go into her nursery. I am surprised I haven’t eaten her – she’s so adorable.
Are you missing her today?
No! [Laughs.] Actually, I am. I have had a few texts from her babysitter. But it’s nice to have a day with my husband – adult time.
There’s been lots going on since we last chatted – no more Footy Show for you!
No more Footy Show, per se. But that is still a work in progress...
You’re still with Channel Nine though, right?
Absolutely I am. We are just about to start filming Ninja Warrior. The course has just started to be erected – it’s going to be fabulous. It’s right beside the West Gate Bridge [in Melbourne] and it’s going to be phenomenal.
What can we expect?
Well, everybody who sees the course in real life goes, “Woah. It’s so big!” So I am super-busy the next couple of weeks with that. Then I’ll have a little bit of a break, and start with the Hopman Cup, and then into The Australian Open – I’m hosting the tennis.
How great that all your work commitments are now filmed in Melbourne...
I know. It’s fabulous. Literally, people would think that I asked for the show to be moved, because I have a young family, but no! It just happened!
