Fresh from her stint on Dancing With The Stars: All Stars – which incidentally also switched networks from Network Ten to Channel Seven – Renee clearly isn’t fazed by the situation.
“It’s always moving and shaking - it’s cyclical, and that’s just kind of the way it works, it’s really interesting to see,” Renee admitted as she reflected on the recent reality TV switch-ups.
“It’s ever evolving and changing and each network has its own thing, so it’s interesting to see things get shaken up a bit on Dancing With The Stars, especially having the original judges come back.
She added: “I think it’s cool to change things up, especially in Australia, I always love it when they take risks.”
Although Renee and former housemate Delta are no longer working together on The Voice, the E! entertainment reporter’s stint on DWTS still meant they were reunited on the small screen.
“Delta came to the first show, she came to watch and support me which was such a big deal for her. That was so amazing,” Renee, who was eliminated in Tuesday night’s episode, said.
It’s not just Delta who’s had Renee’s back as she danced up a storm on the series as a wildcard entrant.
“I've watched the show with my friends every night, we cook dinner and drink wine together. It's really nice to have that support,” Renee said.
Next on the horizon for Renee? She resting up before kicking off some exciting – but secret – new ventures.
“I have a couple of things in the pipeline but I can't say anything about them yet. But it's very exciting, I'll be travelling and shooting fun segments and just doing things I love which is travelling and meeting people,” she revealed.
“But the next six to eight weeks are predominantly focused on healing my body.”
