How would you feel if one of your siblings became super famous all of a sudden? Thrilled? Jealous? How about surprised?
That's the situation Cary (Drew Tarver) and Brooke (The Good Fight's Heléne Yorke), a struggling actor and a failed dancer, find themselves in when their 13-year-old brother goes viral. They're happy for him, but stunned by how big he is.
Thanks to an overnight sensation music video - think Rebecca Black's "Friday" - their baby bro, who goes by the hashtag-able name ChaseDreams (Case Walker), quickly gains millions of Instagram followers, red carpet invites and talk show guest spots.
Clever new comedy The Other Two, which was created by two former Saturday Night Live writers, satirises what it means to be famous in the social media age - and how tough it is for people like Cary and Brooke, who have been trying to make it for years, when someone makes it for doing not very much at all.
Backed by some great comedy veterans - Molly Shannon as the siblings' mother, Ken Marino as Chase's Scooter Braun-type manager and Richard Kind - The Other Two is your new must-watch comedy. (Starts Fri., Jan. 25 at 9pm; Comedy Channel) 4 stars
