Robin Thicke has paid tribute to his late father Alan Thicke who suffered a heart attack on December 13 at 69 years old.
The 'Blurred Lines' singer told the Los Angeles Times that his father was “the greatest man I ever met,” and said the actor was “always a gentleman.”
Thicke, 39, also revealed the last thing he told his father.
“I saw him a few days ago and told him how much I loved and respected him,” he said.
The Golden Globe nominated actor was playing hockey with his son Carter Thicke when he suffered a heart attack and was rushed to hospital.
The 19-year-old has since taken to social media to remember his father who he described as his "best friend".
"Today I lost my best friend and my idol, and the world lost one of it's finest. You are a legend and I love you Pops. Until next time," he tweeted, alongside a photo of the pair.
Thicke is survived by his sons Robin, Carter and Brennan, and wife Tanya.
