Just like any regular family, the royal family use a Whatsapp group chat to plan family gatherings.
While their idea of a get-together is heading to the polo field or visiting Balmoral for the summer, Mike Tindall says they use the same method as everyday people to organize themselves.
"It’s just what you do to try and set up get-togethers and we are going to something that is the same," Mike- who is married to the Queen’s granddaughter, Zara Tindall, previously toldGood Morning Britain.
"If you are going to go, ‘Are you going to take the kids?’ Quite a lot of people have family WhatsApp groups. I don’t think it’s a new revelation," the former rugby star added.

"Me, my brother and then a few of Zara’s side like her brother Pete and the cousins are on WhatsApp groups," Mike toldThe Daily Mirrorin 2018.
The father of two noted that the royal family group chat can at times get overwhelming.
"I wouldn’t say we’re cutting edge, but it’s just easier for some reason on WhatsApp," he said.
"I’m in about 25,000 groups. You might do it for a get-together and just stay on the group, and occasionally people will post. You’re scared to leave because you don’t want to be seen to be rude."

However, the royal family group chat appears to be an overall success, judging by the number of public get-togethers that have been reported recently.
People reported that Mike and Zara, along with their daughters, 5-year-old Mia and 1-year-old Lena, joined Prince William and Kate Middleton with their two eldest children, 6-year-old Prince George and 4-year-oldPrincess Charlotte, at the Burnham Market international horse trials in Norfolk earlier this year.
In July, the Duchess of Cambridge brought all of her children to join Meghan Markle and her son Archie to their husbands’ charity polo match - royal cousins’ first public playdate.
