Fans of The Masked Singer are convinced that Nova’s Ryan 'Fitzy' Fitzgerald is the Prawn.
This morning, the radio host addressed the speculation that he is the man behind the mask after his co-hosts, Michael 'Wippa' Wipfli and Sarah McGilvray grilled him about each of the clues –which just so happen to fit Fitzy perfectly.

“Everyone is tweeting me at the moment going ‘You’re the prawn mate,’” Fitzy said on this morning’s show.
“Fitzy’s got such a distinct Aussie accent that they have to change the voice,” said his co-host, Wippa, before playing a soundbite of the first clue:
“It’s no surprise to find me at big occasions.”
Wippa began to list every event Fitzy has attended, saying “Coachella, the AFL Grand Final.”
“You’re the big event guy, the big event prawn!”
The next clue was: “I famously spent a lot of time around the house,” which prompted Wippa to note that Fitzy had found fame after appearing on Big Brother.
Another clue was, “I like most types of music which has come in very handy in the past.”
“How many band T-shirts do you own?” Wippa asked his co-host.
“About 400...” Fitzy admitted.
Perhaps one of the biggest clues is the fact the Prawn is said to be an ex-football star.
Fitzy is an ex Sydney Swans and Adelaide Crows player.

However, Fitzy shut down the claims by saying he couldn't possibly be involved in The Masked Singer because he had no interest in the idea.
“First episode, last week, I watched the first five minutes; a prawn walked out and went 'I like sports!' and tried to dance, and I haven't watched Masked Singer since!”
On the other hand, Wippa confessed that he had been invited to appear on the show but turned it down.
Fitzy claimed he never received an invitation.
