"I started this weird and wonderful journey in 2014 as a verrrry naïve 24 year old on the Bach. Took a huge hit mentally & emotionally... hid away for a year, and came back as the first Aussie Bachelorette. Which I turned down at least 20 times, before I felt like the universe gave me a massive shove in unexplainable ways to say yes," she explained.
"Then Radio. Hells Kitchen. Home & Away. Full Monty. I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has been on the ride with me, supporting me & encouraging me through my career & personal highs and lows. With all my heart, thank you.. I couldn’t have done it without you," she finished, before urging her followers to vote.
Sam previously spoke to Who about how naive she was when she starred on The Bachelor back in 2014.
“Honestly, I cringe thinking about myself [back then],” she revealed in April.
“I’m like, ‘Samantha, what were you thinking?’ It baffles me that I even did it in the first place.”
But the TV star added that she still doesn't regret trying to find love on a TV show, saying, “I wouldn’t have learnt the lessons I did had I not had that experience.”
“I’ve had relationships that break down,” she reflected.
“I am just like many others and make mistakes and poor decisions, but instead of beating yourself up about it, I always say, ‘What is the universe trying to teach me?’”
Sam's Bachelor romance with Blake Garvey ended shortly after their finale and her Bachelorette relationship with winner Sasha Mielczarek was short-lived, after a cheating scandal.
And in July, news broke that Sam and her long-term boyfriend Dave Bashford had ended their relationship.
Taking to Instagram, Sam shared footage of herself and her dogs from her TikTok account, where she had been mocking the viral “couplechallenge”.
Tellingly, she added the hashtag “31singleandfabulous” and Dave was nowhere to be seen.
A representative later confirmed the news to Sydney Confidential, with a a statement from a spokeswoman reading: “Sam Frost and Dave Bashford are no longer in a relationship. They remain great mates.”
