“We have taken the next step and it’s nice,’’ the actress told the Herald Sun, though she didn’t mention any engagement or marriage plans.
“I feel so happy and being able to travel again is great … it’s going well. I’m happy being in Melbourne.”
For now it looks like Sam just put a regular ring on the wrong finger, but we can’t blame fans for thinking there may be an engagement on the horizon for her and Jordie.
Sam met the Survivor star through her brother, though he wasn’t too keen on them dating at first.
“I called my brother up and I said, ‘so, is he single or what?’ He’s like ‘oh, don’t be weird … that’s so embarrassing’,” the actress told Nova FM’s Fitzy and Wippa in March.
The couple moved quickly from there, sharing a series of sweet milestones together including Jordie’s birthday in May.
Posting a number of tributes to her man, Sam wrote: “Funniest human I’ve ever met. Thank you for making me so happy, I’m a very lucky woman xx.”
And just this weekend Jordie made his feelings for his “lady of sunshine” known, penning a loved-up tribute to Sam after a recent bush trip in Victoria together.
“Every day with her is an adventure and an exploration to see just how much juice we can suck out of life,” he wrote.
“You continue to inspire me and excite me more and more everyday and make me a better man.”
In a surprising twist, Jordie actually competed on Survivor alongside Sam’s ex Jay Bruno, though the couple split before the show went to air in early 2022.
But that worked out well for Sam and Jordie, who fell in love soon after, then moved in together and have already started sparking engagement rumours.
