Last Tuesday, Frost opened up about her life in the limelight on Instagram.
“Social media isn’t the real world. The media isn’t the real world,” she wrote. “What’s real is the time you spend with your partner, the challenges you work through and the unconditional love and support we have for one another.”
She went on: “I actually prefer to keep social media out of our relationship, because that is what works for us.
“Sash & I are incredibly happy together, we don't have to prove the strength of our relationship for the entertainment of strangers.”
The following day, Frost deleted all of her social media accounts, after denying she had split from Mielczarek.
Defending her drastic decision on her radio show the following morning, the reality star opened up to her co-host and listeners.
"Lots of people do say this, they say, 'oh, you asked for this' and I'm like yeah, I know I did this show and I know I opened up my love life and I share little bits and pieces of my relationship to the public, but I didn't expect it to be like this," she said.
"And I don't think anyone can predict what the fallout is going to be," she added.
Frost admitted that she didn't expect her life to turn out the way it did.
"I don't think anyone can predict how it's going to change their life. And now I work in the media and it's bound to happen,” she said.
After deleting her Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts, Frost revealed she wasn’t regretting her decision.
"I already feel so much better and I just feel not as anxious," she told Rove.
The radio host admitted that she made the decision to take a break after having to constantly defend herself, admitting she thinks she's not cut out for this industry.
"I haven't figured out how to guide my way though. I still feel like I'm so new to this, sometimes I think maybe I'm not cut out for this industry because I find it difficult," she confessed. "I find it difficult to read the comments."
