"Relationships are fast-tracked and the amount of deep conversations you’re having with people after knowing them for a few hours is so sped up. Something you might not talk about until around the one-year mark in normal time is suddenly being discussed by the third week in the show. It’s a bit of a strange sensation, but you have to do it. The clock is ticking."
Sam, now a proud dad to two beautiful girls, also advised Matt to trust his gut and eliminate those who are more interested in drama than winning his heart— *cough* Monique Morley *cough*!
"If you suspect people creating drama or are there for the wrong reasons, you have to act on it."
Ahead of this season's premiere, Sam chatted to WHO exclusively about Dr Angew, revealing he'd briefly met the 32-year-and loves him as much as Australia does now!
"I actually met Matt and he's the best," said Sam, who rose to fame in 2015 when he was announced as season three's Bachelor. "Such a humble, smart, genuine guy."
But will Dr Agnew find love with one of the many women vying for his heart? The former reality TV star seems to think so.
"I have a feeling he's going to be just fine and hope it works out as well as it worked out for us," Sam said.
With a newborn, a one-year-old, and a 14-year-old to look after, Sam said that while his family is always on the go, he and Snez have been tuning in and cheering Matt on from the sideline.
"We will be keeping an eye on it with our beautiful crazy family, that's for sure," he told WHO at the time.
