On Tuesday morning, Sam made her first appearance on theSunrisedesk since her engagement, and her long-time co-host David "Kochie" Koch made sure the bride-to-be gave viewers an up-close and personal look of her engagement ring.
Holding up her perfectly-manicured hand to the camera, Sam flashed her new bling - which features an oversized diamond set on a classic white-gold band.
"Woah, Beyonce!" Kochie proclaimed of the ring, which is reportedly worth around $80,000. "Geez, I should have brought my sunglasses," he quipped in a typical dad joke manner.
"It's not Beyonce. Don't say that," Sam laughed, before admitting she was "very happy" to be engaged to former farmer and horse breeder Richard, 60.
Sam shows off her stunning ring worth an estimated $80,000.

As for how Richard dropped a knee, the 43-year-old journalist explained it was a very thoughtful albeit understated affair on her Southern Highlands property in NSW.
"We just had a little bonfire on the weekend in the paddock, it was all very low-key. Like Rich and I, very low-key," Sam explained to her Sunrise colleagues on Tuesday morning.
A prying Kochie even poked fun of their Today show rival Karl Stefanovic, who wed Jasmine Yarbrough in a lavish ceremony at the One&Only Palmilla resort in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico in 2018, by asking Sam: "You're not having the wedding in Mexico?"
"Geez, I should have brought my sunglasses," Sam's co-host Kochie joked of her ring.

"No!" Sam responded.
"He's not a Mexican wedding kind of bloke?" Kochie pressed.
"Oh my god, he would not do the Mexican wedding I promise you that," Sam insisted.
Despite Kochie's best attempts to embarrass his co-star, Sam handled it all with grace and poise and couldn't speak highly enough of her husband to-be.
"He's just a very, charming, lovely fellow. He is totally the opposite of the showbiz world and TV," she added of her new fiancé.
Richard proposed on Sam's Southern Highlands property in NSW.

The presenter also revealed Richard gets the tick of approval from Sam's loved ones.
"My parents love him, both our families get on very well, it's a it's a very happy union," she said.
"We're all thrilled, our families are the happiest, they're so excited. Mum burst into tears."
