Speaking with 9Honey Homes on Tuesday, "We may not have won the most Domain points – we came equal fourth with Courtney and Hans – and we only won one room and came last in a lot of rooms, but at the same time, our flow through our apartment felt like someone needed to belong there."
Describing it as "bang for your buck", Sara continued, "We kept getting the bones right every single week, it was just more about the styling. We had time to go back and re-style and fix things."
"In such a bad market, people are looking for space and more bang for their buck. They want a good amount of square metres for a good price, and that’s why I think the three apartments in The Gatwick did so well."
Before putting it down to, "flow, space and detailing" teamed the fact that the buys felt "an emotional connection."
The pair notoriously clashed with contestants, Sara even threatened to quit the series so of course Twitter had very strong opinions over last night's results - with many fans hoping Jess and Norm would win.
