Schapelle Corby’s Instagram account is proving to quite the source of entertainment for her supporters!
The freed Australian drug smuggler took to her social media account last night to share a hilarious video.
In the post, viewers can spot chopper footage from Channel 7’s Sunrise supposedly showing an aerial view of the car she departed Brisbane Airport. However, it’s soon revealed that wasn’t the case as the car was a decoy given Corby had already arrived at her hotel room!
The camera pans to show the 39-year-old giving the camera a cheeky grimace, clearly celebrating the fact that she had managed to pull a prank on the media in regards to her whereabouts.
Corby’s sister Mercedes, who appears to have recorded the video, declares “There’s the convoy. "Pelle’s being chased by helicopter!” and lets out a heart chuckle.
“In that car, but —” she says before panning to Corby in front of her “— there we are.”
Mercedes also posted the video on her Instagram account, mocking the media. “Doing what they do best ... factual news reporting!!!” she wrote.
