Wearing just a pair of black workout shorts and a dusty blue tank, Scott’s bulging biceps immediately warrant attention.
Little wonder that many of his 87 k followers noticed that he is in excellent physical shape.
“Looking fit big boi,” one wrote.
“Big arms,” added a second.
“Scotty getting the guns out!” penned another.
Back in August, the long-time host of The Block told New Idea that he’d lost nearly 10 kilograms since embarking on a health kick.
“I let myself go a bit last year,” he told the publication.
“You know, when you’re getting old and you slow down and you realise, ‘Jeez, I better pull my finger out and have a bit of a go and get back into fitness again.’”
The tradie first began ramping up his exercise in March when Australia went into lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Utilising just his home gym set-up, Scotty quickly noticed changes in his body.
“I felt good from it and I’ve kept it up,” he said at the time, adding that “light weights” are his go-to.
“I don’t do anything heavy because I’m too old for that,” he continued. “I had a slight injury a few weeks ago, but I’m feeling alright now and I’ll be getting back into it shortly.”
Since then, a lean Scotty has regularly shared photos of himself working out in his unique at-home fitness space, which he levelled up with rubber matting.
“Training hard in the cave gym during isolation....trying to counteract my beer intake,” he previously wrote.
He also shared his intense gym routine with the Daily Mail and revealed he has been training four days a week with a focus on muscle building.
“It’s more about getting healthy,” Scott said.
“I’ve been a fan of the gym on and off for years. I’ve never been consistent though until I started during the break.”
