Family is one of Shannan's top priorities. He's previously admitted on his website that there's nothing he loves more than being active and playing with his loved ones.
"Being an active father and husband is so important to me," he wrote.
"Max and I are never still and even mowing the lawns isn’t so much of a chore now with my ‘little mate’ two steps behind pushing his own plastic Victor. Kids are wonderful imitators. We simply have to give them something wonderful to imitate."
Shannan says he owes Kylie his life, after she noticed an unusual mole on him during a holiday in Bali.
"Kylie noticed a mole at the top of my right leg, just under the crease of my bum, which she thought looked bad," he told New Idea in 2017.
"I didn’t give it a second thought but she called my dad and got him to make me an appointment the day we landed," he added, before revealing that it was eventually tested as positive for melanoma.
"The doctor didn’t downplay it. He said it was serious, but I was very lucky. The melanoma was 0.6mm deep. If it gets to 1mm it can be in your blood and you’re in all sorts of trouble," the former Biggest Loser trainer explained before revealing he had a 15cm area cut away to remove tissue around the mole, and they got it all.
"Kylie saved my bacon. If she hadn’t spotted it I’m not sure I would… and things could have been very different."
Shannan is just one of the Aussie celebs who stripped off for The All New Monty: Guys & Gals last year to raise awareness for men’s and women’s cancers.
Hosted by Shane Jacobson and Georgie Parker, the show featured famous faces including Patti Newton, Samuel Johnson and Danielle Spencer dancing their way through choreography by the acclaimed Todd McKenney and baring all in front of a live audience.
"After Sunday night we’re never going to be able to look at each other the same way again," Shannan joked on Instagram whilst sharing a promotional still.
Oh well, nothing that Kylie hasn't seen before!
