It’s an accepted truth that as we age, our skin changes.

And yet, one of the most underserved groups in beauty is women who are going through menopause.

Sure, we hear about the mood swings, sleep difficulties and the hot flushes that can often accompany menopause. But what of our skin?

Menopause brings profound shifts not only in hormones but also in skin physiology: declining oestrogen levels result in dehydration, diminished collagen, weakened barrier function and reduced elasticity. As much as 30% of skin collagen is lost in the first five years after menopause.

However, when you look at the market for products aimed at people who are experiencing this new phase, it’s hard to find targeted solutions.

Enter: No7. Since launching over 90 years ago, No7 has become one of the most popular skincare brands in Britain, beloved by celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Gemma Chan.

Now, they’ve launched in Australia and turned their attention to menopause, creating a dedicated line that supports women navigating the new skin transition.

Developed after nearly five years of research in partnership with the University of Manchester and co-created with over 7,000 women undergoing menopause, it offers a meaningful step toward inclusion in the skincare conversation.

In consulting the group, No7 and UoM published a dedicated scientific paper that explored the unique needs of menopausal skin. They found that 94% of women would recommend the range to a friend.

The range comprises the No7 Menopause Intense Radiance Serum, No7 Menopause Firm & Bright Eye Concentrate, and No7 Menopause Nourishing Overnight Cream.

Through the study, they proved almost immediate results. The serum proves the appearance of collagen-depleted skin in 1 week, you’ll have visibly refreshed skin after using the night cream for a week and after 4 weeks of using the eye concentrate consistently, you will have reduced any dark circles or wrinkles.

With credible science behind it, formulas tailored for this often-ignored stage of life and a market that’s only just waking up to the category’s potential, this launch may well reshape how we view mid-life skincare.
