MacFarlane is set to play Brian Lewis, Fox News’ public relations chief for 17 years and a close supporter of Ailes.

The Theory of Everything actor, Simon McBurney is also on board to play media mogul Rupert Murdoch. And, Peaky Blinders star, Annabelle Wallis is set to play Laurie Luhn, a former Fox News booker, who had a difficult relationship with Ailes.
Production on the untitled series is set to begin in New York next month. Crowe also serves as a producer on the series and Emmy nominated, Kari Skogland – Known for The Handmaid’s Tale - will direct the first two episodes.
