“You’re on national television, you’re falling in love and you can’t do up your dress!”
Fortunately, the “handsome man” she fell in love with also happened to be a personal trainer. So as soon as she left the house, her now fiancé, Sam Wood, sent her a plan that included 28-minutes of exercise daily, focusing on circuit-training workouts and stretches that she could do at home. The meal plan included fresh, easy-to-prepare food, and after two months “the weight dropped off,” she says.
The plan was the basis of Wood’s successful online program 28bysamwood.com, which Markoski, mum to Eve, 11, still follows to “maintain” her enviable figure. “It’s about being strong, not skinny,” she tells WHO, adding “my fitness and energy levels are so much better than they have ever been.”
Wood thinks his fiancée looks “fantastic” and is an inspiration. “The best part about Snez is that she isn’t perfect. She is normal – a busy mum that misses workouts, drinks wine and eats chocolate. But she is good most of the time and understands the importance of taking care of herself and being happy with her body.”
