It's been the question on everyone's lips since Scott Disick was spotted hanging out with Kourtney Kardashian on her 41st birthday— what does girlfriend Sofia Richie think about their reunion?

Well, according to a close friend, the 21-year-old model is accepting of their friendship and understands they'll always be in each other's lives seeing as they share sons Mason, 10, Reign, five, and daughter Penelope, seven.

"Sofia had no issue with Scott and Kourtney spending time together for her birthday. She knows they have a lot of history together and appreciates how well they co-parent. She respects the relationship they have. Sofia is very secure in the bond she shares with Scott,” the insider told Hollywood Life.

“Sofia is very cool with Scott’s relationship with Kourtney. There really isn’t any animosity or weirdness. At first, maybe, but that was ages ago,” another pal added. "She is very mature and understands that it is very important for kids to have both their parents even if they aren’t together. Scott loves that Sofia is that way."

It appears as though they've come a long way since Sofia put her foot down and finally stood up to the Poosh founder, who was reportedly frosty and unkind to her on multiple occasions.

“Sofia has literally spent years biting her lip and dealing with all of Kourt’s attitude, but now she’s totally done with it,” an insider told Radar Online in March. "She’s taking the initiative and making it known that she won’t be bullied or talked down to anymore."

Aside from the tension that once simmered between pair, Scott and Sofia are focused on the future and are said to be using this time in isolation to work on their once rocky relationship. Insiders claim they've grown much closer since hunkering down in their Calabasas mansion and are said to be focusing on resolving "lingering obstacles in their relationship".

"Sofia and Scott had a few issues the last few months because she didn’t think he was very present in the relationship, and kind of thought he was in the relationship for himself,” a source told Hollywood Life. "She almost felt like he was taking her for granted, which made her upset. That led to them having a few heart to hearts."

After hashing out their differences, Sofia and the Talentless founder— who began dating in 2017— have altered the way they approach hurdles, which has also led Scott to "change his attitude a bit".

"This quarantine is bringing Sofia and Scott even closer and he’s really proven that he can be there for her in tough times, just as much as he is in the good times. He finally realised what he was doing and now things are a lot better. They are much more of a team than just being individuals in a relationship.”

While they’re deeply private about their relationship, Sofia’s mum Diane Alexander— who also shares son Miles with her ex-husband, Lionel Richie— says she gave her seal of approval a long time ago, telling Heat Magazine she adores the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star.

"I love him! We all have our stuff but he’s a really good guy. He's such a good dad. I don’t know if people really know that. He’s at home with them every night – homework, bedtime," she said of Scott who shares children Mason, 10, Penelope, seven, and Reign, four, with ex-partner Kourtney.

While she acknowledges there's a hefty 15 year age gap between the couple, Diane says the model is wise beyond her years and she trusts her judgement implicitly.

"She's so independent, taking care of herself. I'm so proud of her," she said. "It's very well-adjusted in my eyes, all of it. Everyone seems in a healthy place. She’s really wise and she doesn’t do anything wrong relationship-wise – she knows right from wrong. Sofia means wisdom. I learn a lot from her."
