Sophie Monk made an appearance on The Today Show show this morning and dropped some MAJOR news.
Talking to the hosts Sophie announced, "I am going to be hosting Love Island."
After appearing on this year's Bachelorette series, Monk has been the centre of rumours to host the show for weeks and now it's official - this time it will be the TV star playing cupid!
Based on the incredibly popular UK series, the new show will feature a bunch of male and female suitors sent to an island and forced to couple up. Any islander who remains single is booted out and couples swap partners as the season progresses.
The last couple standing at the end wins with the format compared to The Bachelor meets Geordie Shore meets Big Brother.
Sophie goes on to add, "Australia will decide who's in love."
"I'm stoked to be on the other side for once," she adds.
We can't wait to tune into the new show, set to air in 2018!
The blonde beauty's announcement comes just days after she attend the 2017 ARIA awards, where she slammed Stu Laundy on stage.
