“I don’t know, man. Like, it’s really taxing… It’s extremely taxing on the body, extremely taxing on the mind. I’m a family man. I’ve got kids at home… So, yeah, I’ll pretty much be signing up,” Luke told the panel.
The dad-of-three also spoke of some of the challenges his family have faced, including opening up about his baby girl's health issues, telling the panel she was just six weeks old and recently diagnosed with cystic fibrosis before he went to Fiji for filming.
“[My partner and I] actually got tested and we were all negative, so until they did the deeper test did they realise that I’m a carrier.”
“We just had to deal with that at the time… We got her home just before I went onSurvivorand yeah, I went out there, and that’s why it was such an emotional ride for me,” he said.
Luke also thanked fans for the overwhelming donations to a GoFundMe Campaign which has been set up for his family and has already raised more than $290,000.
“It's extremely humbling,” he said, adding, “Much love to everyone that's donated.”
