"There is only one way tonight is going to end... and that is being there naked. And that scares the crap out of me!" Matty J admitted ahead of the final show.
And though former yellow Wiggle Sam insisted he was feeling fine about what was about to take place - "Look, we've done all our rehearsals... We've done our wardrobe checks, we've done everything we can to prepare for this..." - his need to run off for a "nervous wee" just moments before showtime betrayed his true feelings!
According to new dad Matty, the nerves weren't completely unwarranted, after a disastrous few rehearsals beforehand.
"These pants don't want to stay on," the reality star quipped after he accidentally got naked too quickly.
"It just all went totally wrong. It was - that was probably one of the worst rehearsals we've ever done. Like, it was just chaos onstage. Absolute mess."
But the boys pulled it together for the big show - and there's no doubt they did wonders for getting the message about men's health - in particular prostate and testicular cancer - out there to viewers all over the country.
"You know, with prostate cancer and testicular cancer, men are being taken away from their families far too early, in circumstances which could be prevented if they'd have only gone and got a check-up," explains rugby star George, who said yes to the experience after his own dad was taken from him far too young.
"We are putting ourselves out of our comfort zone in the hope that guys watching are going to do the same. I love a challenge. And I'll give it my all."
Needless to say, fans were left more than impressed with the boys' stellar performance.
"It’s such a wonderful cause & such a great awareness for so many men," praised one viewer.
And the guys weren't short of celeb fans, either, with many of Matty's Bachelor pals showing their support.
"I'm getting some popcorn, a cold washer and turning the aircon full blast for this one," posted Australia's inaugural Bachelor Tim Robards ahead of the big show.
Most importantly, though, it seems the message hit home.
"Awesome work.... thank you to all the boys! You all just helped me get my Hubbs and brother to commit to getting checked," a supporter posted on Instagram.
And hey, if these guys can get up in front of the country and bare their bits, surely a visit to the doctor's isn't so bad?
"Don't be scared to go to the doc, get checked," said footy great Brendan. "It could save your life. Pretty simple."
