Carrie’s project hosts were quick to jump in and tease her after the video was aired while she blushed.
“Are you entering The Bachelor, the competition?” Peter Helliar asked her.
“No! You know that I’m happily taken,” she laughed.
The mum of three went on to ponder if ‘wife material’ was the best way to be described.
“Is it a strange thing to say when you’re about to date 20 women at once?” Waleed Aly added.
Carrie quickly pointed out that Jimmy has found love on The Bachelor.
The pilot told Now to Love that he has begun a relationship with one of the show’s contestants, and they are discussing their future together.
Although Jimmy is currently in lockdown in Sydney without his new girlfriend, he has said she is “probably sick of the phone ringing,” with calls from him.
“I noticed her the first night I saw her, she is stunning,” he said of his new partner.
Meanwhile, Carrie is also indeed very happily taken, having been in a relationship with partner Chris Walker for years now.
The couple are parents to two daughters – Evie and Adelaide, and Carrie’s son Oliver from her first marriage.
With The Bachelor starting next week, we’re certain it won’t be long until Jimmy makes an appearance on The Project to chat to his crush face-to-face!
