"When you see an ex or run into them, you've got to remember that they're an ex for a reason," she told 9Honey. "People thought it would be awkward because they hadn't seen us talk to each other since. There's no overlaying feelings, people move on. Matty has found the love of his life, and I found mine.'
Back in September, jewellery designer Laura took a sneaky swipe at Georgia on her Life Uncut podcast after she posted a tweet Bachelor star, Matt Agnew sending home fan favourite Elly Miles.
Taking to Twitter and Instagram, Georgia jokingly wrote: "F*** YOU MATT. Don’t @ me."
The tweet and the language Georgia used clearly offended Laura, savagely telling her co-host Brittany Hockley that it was "really grinding my gears".
"My issue with it didn't so much come from, [that Georgia is] offering criticism. It's totally OK to not be an Abbie [Chatfield] fan and to be upset that your favourite character is going home. However, language is really, really important
"She didn't say, 'Hey, this isn't cool'. She chose to use obscenities and basically verbally abused Matt for his choices.
"It also then validates anybody else who wants to sling abuse at [Matt Agnew], which is just not the example that [previous reality stars] should be setting when we have been in that position before."
Laura also said she was being hypocritical seeing as she also sent home fan favourite, Cameron Cranley on The Bachelorette in 2016.
"As much as I do question Matt's decisions in keeping Abbie on the show, I still think it's a bit of a situation where it's 'pot calling kettle'. I just think as a journalist and someone who really understands the power of language, I expected more than that [from Georgia]."
