Their reality TV pals were quick to comment and celebrate with the pair.
“Congratulations,” wrote fellow Bachelor alum Anna Heinrich.
“OMG congratulations!!!!” shared Alisha Aitken-Radburn, who also lives in Perth with her Bachelor partner, Glenn Smith.
“Awesome guys!!!” wrote David Genat, Locky’s former Survivor castmate.
The purchase marks a new milestone for the pair, who have been dating for around two years now since finding love on The Bachelor in 2020.
Since finishing the show, the pair have travelled extensively around Australia, but have ultimately settled in Locky’s home state of Western Australia.
Irena works full time as a nurse, while Locky has done various projects since the show ended, including a stint on SAS Australia, where he made it to the final day of the intense training course.
The pair have dropped many hints that they plan to marry and have children in the near future.
“I am so clucky. Already! I can’t wait to be a mum,” Irena said previously during an Instagram Q&A.
“It’s something I’ve always looked forward to. And I can’t wait to see Locky as a dad, he’s a little clucky too,” she added.
“I know I have the biological clock ticking (it’s something that I am very aware of) but I am hopeful that a baby or two is in the near future,” she admitted.
“But not too near. I just got back to work and can’t go straight to maternity leave.”
