The 25-year-old missed her funeral. Ciarran’s nan’s passing is said to be a complete shock to the family.
Our insider tells us that he didn’t want to leave, so he tried to stay for a week. But his heart just wasn’t in it anymore and “he was over the whole thing.”
Understandably, Ciarran was “super depressed, not himself.”
The larrikin couldn’t stop thinking about his nan and just didn’t want to be in the competition.
He ultimately left for the UK to see his family. Despite both Angie and production wanting Ciarran to return, the Brit decided it was best he closed his Bachelorette chapter.
It is expected that his walkout will take place during a cocktail party - with the 25-year-old getting out of his suit and changing into normal clothes.
The model confided in Angie advising he had to walk away.
The Bachelorette was overheard saying, “I’ll never know, but he could’ve been The One.”
She had previously spoken about her growing feelings, sharing, "You always seem to make me laugh. You just always seem to step up and we have a really good time, and I see you have a serious side as well."
Last week, fans learned that an unnamed fan-favourite would be leaving the competition.
A source on-set told The Daily Mail that a producer informed the contestant of the tragic news off-camera, prompting him to fly home immediately for the funeral.
"The news sent shockwaves through the show, but everybody understood and respected his decision to go and be with his family," the insider told the outlet.
In a shock turn of events - Ciarran has since been spotted with his ex-girlfriend.
Recently, Instagram pictures of Ciarran spending time with his ex Renee Barrett emerged showing the pair getting cosy during a romantic dinner in Bali. In another snap, they posed with a group of friends. As we know, Renee starred in Matt Agnew's season of The Bachelor earlier this year.
The pictures were shared by Renee and, in an attempt to keep his identity a mystery, the reality star has covered Ciarran’s face in each image.
