On last night’s episode, Jess got the shock of his life when Angie confronted him about his sleazy behaviour and promptly gave him the boot from the competition.
However, following huge public backlash and calls from the Mayor of Noosa for Jess to resign from his position, Angie has hit back saying, despite Jess’ unforgivable behaviour, she doesn’t want to see the 37-year-old bullied online or lose his job.
“I don’t need him to be online bullied, I can’t stand that,” Angie told KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O this morning.
“I don’t wish him any harm or hate.
“Now he can learn from this, hopefully, just learn to not talk to women like that if you want to make a connection.”
“I don’t want him to lose his job, that’s not something I would want for anyone … He signed up to a reality show and I can’t control what anyone else says or does about the matter. I just stuck up for myself in that moment, that’s all I did.”
In an interview with Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa earlier this morning the Mayor of Noosa, Tony Wellington said:
"It was a rather extreme example of Cr Glasgow's behaviour and it's most disappointing to me and to many other people across Noosa and I'm sure across the country," Mayor Wellington said.
