Three years on from her short stint on The Bachelor, Heather Maltman still has her sights on Hollywood. And at one point this year, she nearly got her big break.
On Friday, the DJ-turned-actress took to Instagram to share her proudest moments of 2018, revealing she nearly snatched up the role of DC Comics' first openly gay superhero, Batwoman.
"THE BEST OF 2018: The audition I got to do... that even though I didn’t get... I was BATWOMAN for at least a few hours," she wrote alongside a picture of her in character. "And someone I look up to a lot... she got the role," she said, referring to Ruby Rose.
The Dj-turned-actress continued, admitting that Rose was instead built for the role and will "do it more justice than I ever could."
Ruby Rose announced in August that she would take on the role of Batwoman in the upcoming CW show Elseworlds. She will return to the network early next year with her own series that will be focused on the character.
