'There wasn't any arguments or drama, they just took things nice and slowly while getting to know each other, which isn't particularly interesting to watch on TV.'
In fact, Vanessa and Chris received just 47 seconds of airtime during Sunday’s commitment ceremony.
Another source told Daily Mail Australia that the only time the couple got into a fight was during a break in filming, meaning there was no footage for producers to use.

'Everything was going great, filming was then halted for a week or so, and once the cameras started rolling again they couldn't stand each other.
'Producers couldn't understand what had happened. There was no footage showing them fall out, and their explanations struggled to provide context for viewers.
'It's as if bosses just thought it's easier to downplay their entire appearance on the show all together and edit them out as much as possible.'
However yesterday, some light was shed on Vanessa and Chris’ secretive fight.
In a worrying video obtained by New Idea, the beaten-down bride tore into Chris, proving there's a terribly nasty side to him we're yet to see on the show.
"I am done with you f***ing lying," she said in a heartbreaking monologue, directly addressing her groom. "I have been apologising to him for sh*t that he's been doing to me.
"He's a f***ing gaslighting, manipulative piece of sh*t. He has controlled me and he has destroyed me."
Vanessa went on to reveal that Chris feigned interest in her for his own benefit in an attempt to garner more air time.
“I have been apologising to him for sh*t that he's done. If any man can just sit there when someone is crying saying 'you're f***ing destroying me and who I am, please let me go' and he doesn't, that's a horrible human," she sobbed.
"If they can literally keep you there for your own f***ing agenda, that is just horrible. I am exhausted, can't he just let me go? I never want to see Chris again."
