Series creator Charlie Brooker and executive producer Anabel Jones recently told The Hollywood Reporter that the latest stand-alone episode was extremely difficult to produce. Both agreed that due to its unique interactive features—which allows viewers to choose the fate of the main character, Stefan— the episode took an "enormous" amount of time to create, and as a result, the upcoming season has been shifted.
Netflix is yet to release a launch date for the fifth season however, we do know that it is set to drop sometime this year.
