It was announced yesterday that Dr Chris Brown will no longer be appearing on Bondi Vet, but that doesn't mean he will no longer work as a vet.
Brown has now set the record straight on what it all means for his career.
“I have always been hugely proud of the Bondi Vet TV show and it will always be a big part of who I am, but for now I will just be a Bondi vet rather than the host of Bondi Vet,” Brown told News Corp.
“I have already had a number of approaches for vet based TV projects, which I am currently weighing up but again, they will have to fit in to my schedule as it stands.”
The production company responsible for Bondi Vet and The Living Room revealed yesterday that he was leaving the show due to his busy schedule.
“Unfortunately Dr Chris Brown won’t be on the show in the future because he is too busy with his commitments as co-host on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and as a travel reporter on The Living Room," WTFN's Entertainment Director of Content Steve Oemck said.
“During eight seasons on Bondi Vet, Chris has certainly set the standard for TV vets, so the new Bondi Vet has very big shoes to fill.”
They are now on the search for a new vet to take his place.
